The palace is beautiful; the experience was anything but

Terrible experience. I selected the wrong date and as soon as I did, contacted the vendor to move back by one day. They flatly refused. Yes, I realize their website says no refunds; I wasn’t asking for that, simply to move our reservation by 24 hours. It would’ve been no skin off their nose to do this, no loss of money on their part. Instead , I had to pay another $200+ for tickets that should’ve cost me $27 each direct from the Alhambra (and why were those tickets sold out? Could it be that greedy third party operators scoop them Up, so they can then increase the price by 400%. And why in the world does the Alhambra allow this???). The third party operators scoop could’ve chosen to be kind, and helpful; instead they chose greed. Shame on them. There were no paper maps when we got there, no audio guides (other problems arose and we missed the walking tour time, so we had to just walk around on our own). The website maps didn’t work, and all the Alhambra staff did was shrug, say “it’s blocked,” and walk away. The palace is beautiful; the experience visiting there was not. Hugely disappointing.

Rushed & under-whelming

We were not happy the the company changed the time of the trip, back by 30 minutes, which meant we had to break off from the tour halfway through, to allow us to see everything

Magnificent

Very good guide, Anis. Humor and great knowledge of history.

We are on the verge of a scam

Paid for the tour at 1:30 PM for 10 people, which means a higher rate. Three days prior, the time was changed to 5 PM. Despite the complaints, there was nothing to be done; we had to change the evening train and hotel. The alternative was to cancel with the impossibility of finding other tickets for the Alhambra. At the start of the tour, the group consisted of 21 people. Many others had the same issues. Poor guide, the worst I have ever encountered.

30 year anniversary trip with my husband. We were amazed at how large the place is and the tour seemed to go on and on.

We enjoyed the tour very much. We learned a lot.
