As Spain’s most breathtaking Moorish monument, it offers an unforgettable experience through Alhambra guided tours and Alhambra and Generalife tour packages. Secure your Alhambra skip-the-line tickets or join an Alhambra tour from Granada to explore its stunning Islamic architecture, lush gardens, and historic fortresses. For a deeper experience, consider an Alhambra tour with an official guide or an Alhambra private tour, ensuring exclusive insights into its rich past.
At the entrance to the Alhambra, admire the Horseshoe Arch alongside the Christian coat of arms, a powerful symbol of the transition from Moorish rule to the Spanish conquest of 1492. A key highlight on any Alhambra guided tour, this historic gateway marks the fusion of Islamic and Spanish heritage within the Alhambra complex. Secure your Alhambra skip-the-line tickets or join an Alhambra tour with an official guide to uncover the fascinating stories behind this architectural masterpiece.
The Puerta del Vino, a stunning horseshoe-arched gate within the Alhambra complex, once served as an entrance to the royal Nasrid palaces. Some believe its name comes from its historical role in wine trade, while others suggest it refers to its rich decorative colors. A key stop on any Alhambra guided tour, this architectural gem offers visitors a glimpse into the Nasrid dynasty’s artistic heritage. Book an Alhambra skip-the-line tour or an Alhambra private tour to explore its intricate details up close as part of your Alhambra and Generalife tour package.

Every January 2nd, the tower’s historic bell rings to commemorate the Catholic Monarchs’ conquest of Granada, marking a pivotal moment in Spain’s history. A must-visit on any Alhambra guided tour, the Alcazaba’s defensive walls and watchtowers stand as a testament to the region’s rich past.
A striking contrast to the Moorish architecture of the Alhambra, the Palace of Charles V is a 16th-century Renaissance masterpiece commissioned by Emperor Charles V to symbolize Spanish dominance. Its grand circular courtyard, considered one of Spain’s finest Renaissance designs, stands as a unique architectural feature within the Alhambra complex. A charming pergola leads to a spacious esplanade on the lower terrace of the Partal, offering stunning views of the Alhambra’s Moorish architecture. To the left stands the iconic Partal Palace portico, the architectural feature that gives this area its name. As one of the oldest Nasrid-era structures within the Alhambra complex, it showcases intricate archways and serene reflective pools, making it a must-visit on any Alhambra guided tour.
hidden gem within the Alhambra, the Torre de la Cautiva is one of the most richly decorated residential towers, featuring exquisite Islamic stucco and intricate tilework. Cancelled my tour last minute
Less than 24 hours before the tour started, the tour operator contacted me to say there hadn't been enough sign ups and so they were cancelling my tour. I was offered a choice of a full refund or to (for the same price) take my ticket and explore on my own (with the "help" of their app---in quotes because the password they gave me didn't work in the end) As I'd already committed to the visit from an itinerary perspective, and I knew a lot of tickets were sold out, I felt I had no choice and accepted the offer to take my ticket with me and go on my own. So I ended up paying 4x what the regular ticket would've been. Although it does warn upon sign up that in some "extremely unlikely" situations this can happen, and I understand if no one signs up then the tour isn't profitable, I think they could've reimbursed some of my fee, considering that the tour company provided me with nothing apart from a different location to get tickets from. Also to note: this tour does not include the Nasir Palace, which wasn't entirely clear. The gardens and the castle are amazing and well worth the visit though. (The castle is quite unique!)
A tour you won’t forget.
