Board the ferry to Alcatraz at Pier 33 on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. Headsets are provided to listen to the award-winning audio tour, “Doing Time”, where you will learn about notorious criminals like Al Capone, who were incarcerated here. Learn about escape attempts from 'The Rock' and listen to commentary from former inmates and staff. This will be your drop-off point. No transportation is provided after Alcatraz because you will be able to stay as long as you want on the Island until the last ferry back to Pier 33.

We had perfect San Fransico weather as we took in the views of the bay, Alcatraz, the woods, and downtown Salsalito. I highly recommend this day trip.
