Discover the city that saw the bith of the greatest writer of Hispanic literature, Muiguel de Cervantes. This town, a World Heritage site, not only holds the secrets of this famous writer, but its streets are also home to the various cultures that have passed through Spain. The city's rich historical and artistic heritage is reflected in its imposing monuments, such as the Cathedral of Los Santos Niños, the Laredo Palace, the picturesque Calle Mayor, and the hundred-year-old University of Alcalá. Naturanda cancelled twice and refused all reasonable alternatives — avoid this company
We booked a Naturanda tour through the GoCity Madrid pass and unfortunately had a terrible experience that completely disrupted our travel plans. First, Naturanda cancelled our tour on the day of the activity when we where already at their office, apparently their tour operator was not available anymore. They offered to reschedule, but after accepting a new date, Naturanda cancelled that one as well, the day before due, apparently because there where too few people who booked the tour. Their final “solution” was to move the tour one week later, long after we had left Madrid — an option that is impossible for any traveler and clearly not a real alternative. What makes this worse is that Naturanda flat‑out refused to offer any other options, even though we proactively suggested several alternatives that were: - Available on their website - Similar in price - Operated by Naturanda themselves We asked for: - The wine tour on two different dates shown as available online → refused without explanation. - Their daily tapas tour (€100 vs. our original €90) → refused because “they can fill the spots with other people”. - Their self‑guided tapas tour, still advertised for €50 → refused with the claim that the website is “outdated”, even though it is still publicly displayed. In short: Naturanda cancelled twice, provided no feasible solution, rejected all alternative proposals, and left us without any activity or compensation. We have traveled a lot and rarely encountered such inflexible and unhelpful service. For anyone visiting Madrid, I strongly recommend avoiding Naturanda and choosing a more reliable tour operator.
