Itinerary
This full day excursion begins during the morning with a transfer service from your hotel in Alanya. An English speaking tour guide will welcome you in a comfortable and modern bus. The guide will be in charge to provide information about the places of interest and make sure that your tour is pleasurable and joyful. The cabrio bus will transfer you towards the first stop of the schedule, at Oymapınar Dam Lake.
Green Canyon is definitely the place to be for nature lovers. This is because the area hosts some incredible spots of unique beauty. The Oymapınar Dam is among the largest in Turkey and the tour guide will explain to you everything you need to know about the importance of the spot. Except from witnessing the spectacular beauty of nature, at the area you will also observe an ancient bridge that was built during the Roman period.
The tour continues with a lunch break at a lake-side local restaurant. There, you can relax in the cozy atmosphere and try some mouthwatering flavors. From the restaurant, you can still enjoy some nice views of the surroundings and take some photos.
The second part of the tour includes an exciting, yet relaxing boat trip in the Green Canyon. With a spacious and comfortable boat you will explore the Green Canyon for 14km. Would definitely recommend
Had a lovely trip with my daughter on the Green Canyon river Cruise. It was 2 hour coach journey from Alanya to our destination. Fantastic scenery a great atmosphere on the boat a beautiful lake to swim in. I would definitely recommend this day trip if you're staying the area.
Peaceful
It was pretty good and peaceful. The ride to the boat felt lowkey like a roller coaster but we made it safely and it kept the ride somewhat entertaining. The bus was pretty ventilated when we first got on but wasn’t when we were on our way back, but that’s mostly because the bus was under the sun for like 1 hour when we left to eat and it got better during the ride back. Driver was nice, could speak a little English but there were instances where we didn’t know what was going on and nobody told us what was going on because everyone was talking in either Turkish, Russian or polish? But he did apologize and informed us later during lunchtime. Lunch was ok, the main course are either fish or chicken, the fish didn’t really taste like anything and the chicken although the texture was very good, also didn’t really taste like anything and were burnt from the grill I suppose. Wasn’t too bad. Would recommend otherwise, it was very calming and peaceful and you got to take a dip in the emerald lake, although not for a long time. The water there is not salty and was very nice 👍
Great day trip
Very good day trip. Eric helped with the booking and got us on the trip the very next day. One Criticism, the canyon is massive and it was a little long however, that's my opinion and does not affect the 5 star treatment received. Free drinks and good weather. No pushing or selling for the photos that was a relief. All in all great day out
