2hrs of Acadia
This was an excellent tour it was informative and well planned. There just enough time at each stop. This is a tour we would recommend
Great Tour & Would Recommend
As advertised. Glad we didn't use our car. Traffic is bumper to bumper before entry to Acadia. The tour has pre approved entry. Blocking the only lane of traffic trying to find a spot with our vehicle and then parking with an audience, would not be fun, especially for rental car drivers. You'd have to either walk to each additional stop or find a new spot. Fine if you're a hiker. The only reason I took a star off was because the tour should start 30-45 minutes earlier, knowing these delays are guaranteed. Instead of 10am, start at 9:15am with no additional stops and charge $10 more to pay for the driver & addtl business costs. Adults don't respect scheduled times and delay the tours movement. Traffic is unpredictable and I cant see it being less crowded because it's beautiful. This cuts the time you can spend at each stop. I would've liked 15-20 minutes minimum at each stop (3) for exploring, bathrooms & shopping. The guides are great. The tour was exactly what was advertised. Don't stress yourselves. Tip: If you're catching the direct flight out of BGR to LGA at 500pm, you will make it from the tour to the airport with time to spare if you're driving by 1:10pm.
Above and beyond all expectations. Professional, Helpful, Knowledgeable and down right great people.
We booked a tour with this company through a booking agency. We were on cruise ship and ported here for a brief stop. Unfortunately our ship had terribly slow tender service. We would have been very close to missing our tender if took the tour we booked. The wonderful lady that helped us went out of her way to try and accommodate us. Looking for other options not only within her own company but ultimately sending us to another company. She then even refunded our tour we booked through the agency. Book with confidence, these folks will take great care of you.
Good but could have been great.
Overall the trip was good, but the driver kept telling us how ‘great we were doing and ahead of schedule’ (allegedly due to light traffic that day) we were but returned early from our tour, rather than allowing longer stops at scenic sites to provide us with our entire booked time. He kept saying it wasn’t his fault. A great driver would have adjusted the timing of his stops accordingly.
