A Unique Belfast Walking Experience

I would thoroughly recommend this tour. Marti’s knowledge of the plants and trees in Botanic Gardens was impressive to say the least. We saw the magical Palm House and Tropical Ravine and heard the history of both from Marti. Our tour also included seeing Queens University, The Ulster Museum and the iconic City Hall. Marti was a font of knowledge about the history of these buildings and indeed the troubled history of Belfast. Many thanks Marti

A bit ordinary as guide spent too much time keeping us standing while he relayed lengthy information. The Botanic Gardens could have been better but he spent time telling us what he had wanted to achieve when he worked there and how badly they are being managed now. In all fairness the gardens are starting to show evidence of poor care and maintenance. We rushed through the museum, but that was O.K. because we intended to go back that afternoon. The rest of the tour was rushed as we had spent so much time in the gardens and he walked so fast we couldn't hear anything he was saying. He's passionate about nature and peace but a bit quirky for me. I suspect there are better tours.

Good Tour with hekpful information

Second time we did a tour with this organisation and it didn't dissapoint. Marty has a wealth of knowledge on so many different subjects! It's an absolute joy to spend time in his city, while he points out all the interesting history and the quirky bits. We loved walking around in the university area and were very happy with suggestions for food and drink. The visit to the Botanical Gardens was very special, as walking around with a gardener in such a place adds a whole other layer of interest.

What a great tour. Marti is a lovely guide with an amazing knowledge of Belfast and it's history. If you want a tour that shows you more than the usual places, Marti is your go to! Highly recommended.
