^ Days in the Moroccan countryside and cities

Joseph, our driver was great. He had a good sense of humor and was very accommodating. He helped us with the language barrier and best of all was a very good driver. He was always on time for pickup with a smile. Abdul, our guide in the Fez Medina was very knowledgeable and navigated us through the maze with no delays. We even bought some treasure to send home. The scenery was amazing from the olive groves and apple orchards through to the High Atlas mountains with sheep and goats along the way. The accommodations were good and clean with some highlights like the Riad in Fez. Not sure I needed the 3 story climb after the 4 story walk to the hotel in Chefchaouen. But the view was excellent from the roof top. The Berber camp was beautiful both he sunset and sunrise on the dunes. The staff everywhere we stayed were very attentive, friendly and helpful. The downside for us was the long drive days between stays. I really had no idea that we would be spending around 10 hours getting from one place to another.
