Best experience ever

I had an incredible 5-day tour of Scotland and it exceeded all my expectations! Every destination was absolutely breathtaking, from the charming coastal town of Oban to the magical Isle of Skye the stunning Highlands around Inverness and the beautiful city of Edinburgh. Every day brought unforgettable landscapes, rich history and amazing photo opportunities. A very special thank you to our guide Torva who made this trip truly exceptional. Torva was friendly professional knowledgeable and had a wonderful sense of humor. He shared fascinating stories about Scotland’s history, culture and legends, making every stop even more meaningful. He also made everyone feel comfortable and ensured the entire group had a fantastic experience. This tour was the highlight of my trip to Scotland and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the country’s most beautiful places. Thank you Torva for creating memories that will last a lifetime

A Nice trip through the Scottish Highlands.

Had a nice variety of sites across the Scottish Highlands. The guide ‘Lord Torva Farquaad’ :) had many local stories to tell about local history, giants and fairies.

A Wonderful Way to Discover the Real Scotland

We had a wonderful 5-day tour with Highland Explorer and it was one of the best ways to discover Scotland beyond the obvious postcard views. The itinerary was very well balanced, with spectacular destinations, but also smaller stops away from the main tourist points, which helped us understand Scotland in a deeper and more authentic way. We especially appreciated that the tour was not just about ticking off famous places, but about connecting the landscapes with history, local stories, culture and everyday life. The best part of our trip has been our guide, Charlie, she was excellent. She has a great sense of humor, always had a good story to tell, and made the whole experience feel warm, lively and engaging. She was also very attentive, kind and well organized, which made the trip easy and enjoyable from start to finish. She also squeezed in a castle visit in our trip, going further the initial plan. We loved her! The accommodation was also very good overall, with our best stay being in Oban. The accommodations were all in the city center, with walkable distances to main attractions. Everything was comfortable and well arranged. We were a small group and the tour felt really nice and easy this way. The only thing I would personally improve would be to include a few more cultural or heritage visits along the route, such as castles or historic interiors, and perhaps to include the entrance fees in the overall tour price, to make the experience feel even more complete and seamless. Also, in some destinations it felt we stayed too short for what was to be seen and experience, I would increase the time in places where are many things to be seen, so it won’t feel we are always in a hurry. Overall, we would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the Highlands, Skye and Loch Ness while also getting a better sense of the real Scotland behind the scenery.
