Traveler reviews
Great driver in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina
We first met Hernán Rodríguez when he picked us up at the Iguazú airport and drove us to the Selvaje Lodge. He offered to take us to our next outing, and we wound up using his service for the next several days. Over the course of our stay, he handled every transfer with punctuality and care: to and from the Argentine side of the Falls (where he helped us navigate the park entrance), to and from dinner each evening — walking us into the restaurant and ensuring we were comfortably seated — and finally to the Brazil side of the Falls and back. He led us through the Brazilian & Argentine Customs and immigration checkpoints, which would have confounded us otherwise. He returned us to the airport at the end of our trip, all without a single hitch. Throughout, Hernán was unfailingly courteous, professional, and remarkably helpful. With our limited Spanish, he went out of his way to bridge every communication gap and make certain we achieved everything we set out to do. He even appeared to have arranged restaurant reservations on our behalf — a thoughtful touch we hadn't expected. We communicated easily and reliably via WhatsApp the entire time. You can reach him there at +54 9 3757 462875. We recommend Hernán without reservation — he elevated our Iguazú experience in ways a great driver quietly does, and we are grateful for his care.
Great experience
Leonardo, an agent at the Defensa street office, meet with us three women ( aged 70+.) he listened to our interests and put together 2 nights in Iguazu and 3 nights at Yacutinga Rainforest Eco lodge. A driver met us at the airport, took us to hotel, driver and guide took us to Brazil side for an afternoon. Next day, same guide and driver took us to Argentine side. Day 3 we were picked up and went to Yacutinga. While there we had great food, fabulous biologist lead walks, kayak paddle for a morning, mate ceremony, night walk, etc. we loved all of it and the swimming pool. Then a driver returned us to Iguazu and then to the airport. It was all excellent, met our interests and we felt very taken care of. Tangol is a very good source for tours and planning.
Iguazu Falls
We had a wonderful day trip to Iguazu Falls from Buenos Aires. The driver picked us up promptly at our hotel, the flight arrangements were all taken care of, and our guide Ricardo met us at the airport. Ricardo did a fantastic job guiding us around the national park on the Argentina side, showing us the falls from all angles and sharing interesting information about the falls, jungle and wildlife. We had lunch in the park then did the boat tour, which I highly recommend. The day ended with a stop for souvenirs. After our flight back to Buenos Aires, another driver met us and drove us back to the hotel. A perfect day!
