Itinerary
We start of our tour at the Giants Ring on the outskirts of Belfast. Here we will give you a timeline for our history and where better to do this than at ancient monument predating the pyramids to a time around 5000 years ago
Travel into south Belfast with its lovely houses and a look around Queens University which is a beautiful building
A visit to the peace walls helps to explain and put in context the conflict that took place in Northern Ireland from the late 60s that most are familiar with. We show you both sides of the divide and give you a historical unbiased overview of the city
This area has a fantastic history with beautiful buildings and monuments right around the city centre. Now a lively tourist area with many bars and restaurants we can drive around this area and see the sights.
Construction started in the late Victorian era and city hall was built to celebrate Belfast gaining city status with its mighty industries of shipbuilding and linen production being the best in the world. You will have time to stroll around its grounds and see inside this magnificent building and the area around it.
Stop at the titanic Museum visiting the shop and seeing where Titanic launched from. We also see one of the last surviving battleships from the First World War and the mighty cranes from Harland and Wolf shipyards who built the Titanic We then pass through into East Belfast where we see some examples of Victorian Belfast and some more murals depicting the troubles from the British perspective.
The beautiful grounds and building known as Stormont, built in 1921 and opened in 1932 is next on the tour where you can see inside with its Greek classical style opulent marble. This building was formed as part of the new governance of Northern Ireland after partition and has a great history. We then finish the tour where you will have seen the best of the city past and presented hopefully a great understanding of our rich history.

We took the 4 hour tour...
We took the 4 hour tour of Belfast! Our driver Trevor was amazing! Prompt, so kind, personable, and so knowledgeable about his city! He gave us so much important information, was so engaging all awhile keeping the tour fun and very interesting! Was the best tour, highly recommend!
Knowledgeable and Friendly
Trevor was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He showed us all sides of Belfast both good and bad. Ride was very comfortable. If we are ever back in Belfast, we would ask (insist) on him again.
The tour was wonderful....
The tour was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better way to see and learn about the city and it's history. It was equal parts educational and enjoyable, thanks to Trevor who is extremely knowledgeable, very accommodating and just a pleasure to learn from and spend the day with.
Personable and knowledgeable tour of Belfast
Private tour for our family of three easily exceeded our expectations. Trevor was friendly, highly knowledgeable, articulate, personable and flexible to our interests. His car was also super comfy. Highly recommend for those short of time to better understand Belfast, both modern and old.
Great Belfast Tour
The tour of Belfast was excellent. We purchased tickets to the Titanic museum separately. James our guide dropped us off for the experience and met us after the experience. We saw important sights of Belfast. When our spouses asked about local shopping James took us to the perfect place. We asked to visit a pub and raised a glass at a wonderful local pub. Although the tour was officially listed as four hours there was no clock watching. We got to see and learn all that we wanted to see and learn about Belfast. You can’t go wrong seeing Belfast with this tour.
