My wife and I are retired, slow world travelers. Peru Hop and Bolivia Hop appeared to be a good way to see a lot of Peru and a bit of Bolivia semi-independently and not with a large group of people. Peru Hop and Bolivia Hop have exceeded our expectations. We have started and stopped as we wanted, e.g., 2 nights in Paracas, 5 nights in Arequipa, 4 nights in La Paz. The optional add-ons have been great. Animal life in Paracas, thrills in the Huacachina Oasis, the homestay in the Puno area. The guides/Hop Hosts have been great. We especially appreciated the work of Bo (Boris), Moni and Gabriel. Their English was fluent and their ability to manage the groups made this ex-teacher proud. They answered all of our questions and gave is ideas on other things to see and do along the way.

Johann was an amazing guide, and the tour itself was awesome! His great sense of humor and joyful personality made the experience really enjoyable. He also spoke about difficult and sensitive topics with a lot of respect and sensitivity. The tour was a great mix of interesting information, humor, and humanity. It was definitely a very long day, but absolutely worth it! :)
