Traveler reviews
Great your of the Orkneys
Nick was a wonderful guide, with loads of information and funny stories. Lots of stops to break up the long drive.
Great tour - very poor hotel service
Great tour with Rabbies minibus. Amazing sites. This part would rate 5 stars. Hotel Orkney a real disappointment. Supposedly 3-star hotel. Our room was far too hot. The corridors and dining room (and some bedrooms of other people) were very cold. Our toilet didnt flush properly. Room service made our beds but did not clean the bathroom or replace towel left on floor. One person on this tour had only cold water in the shower. Hotel breakfast quite good.
Informative Neolithic sites tour
This tour provides access to a bunch of neolithic sites on Orkney, so if this is your thing (its definitely mine!) this would be the tour for you.
Exceptional experience!
Terrific experience! Our driver, Scotty, was first rate- very knowledgeable, professional and engaging. He was very accommodating with pick ups, drop offs and answering a myriad of questions. Excellent, safe driver. His knowledge of the area and its history was exceptional. Took us to a few extra places which were not on the formal itinerary. All of the historical Neolithic sites were fascinating. Just as importantly, everyone on the bus had fun. We would highly recommend this tour.
Orkney trip with Kev
It was an amazing Easter weekend with kev! Kev was an absolute legend. He made us laugh throughout. His stories were fun to hear. I have really got to give it to him, it was no small feat to entertain 8 single ladies and a dog. Enjoyed the hike to Yesnaby, was enthralled by 5000 year old neolithic history at Ring of Brodgar, stone circles of Stenness, Skara Brae, Maeshowe chambered cairn and the story of viking runes.
