Merzouga Experience
We attended the tour with friends. Our driver was Mustapha Fadili, he was very friendly, kind and was supporting us through the whole trip. Excellent experience and the time was full with fun and nice conversations. Highly recommend Mustapha and the tour itself.
10/10 would recommend
I had an absolutely fantastic experience with this tour service. Everything was perfectly organized, and the entire trip exceeded my expectations. Our guide, Mustapha Fadili, was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about sharing local culture and history. He made every moment engaging and ensured we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the journey. I highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a memorable and well-guided excursion.
Poor experience
This was my second time doing this trip (the first one was on a different company). On this company, it's not as good as before. The driver was quiet the whole time instead of giving us facts and fun information while driving, which the first company did. The hotel on the first night is also not as good. The guide in Tinghir didn't even give us the walking tour of the city for his reason that the weather is not good even if it's just cloudy and we can definitely walk as other groups did. I am also disappointed that non-luxury and luxury groups where on the same van instead of separate. In the second day we have to separate from the rest of the group and join other group. I would suggest to other people to book the other company instead of this one for better accomodation and organization. I am really disappointed that my friends didn't have the same experience as mine during my first time doing it.
Amazing!
The desert experience was crazy! I met so many beautiful people but above all I had the opportunity to travel with Brahim and Mustapha who taught me a lot. In particular Mustapha managed to immerse me in its Moroccan culture and traditions. For this I will always thank him and I will never forget everything he gave me! 10 stars indeed 10 titrit
The day in the desert incredible
Adil, our driver, was great! The gorges are impressive, Aït Ben Haddou is amazing and the day in the desert was just magical. Regarding accommodation: the first hotel was very simple but clean. It was quite cold and insulation is limited, but we received additional blankets. The camp in the desert is very well organized: the room has a bathroom with hot water and the beds were comfortable and very warm. What bothered us a little was that we were told at the beginning that we could freely choose to take a guide (with extra charge) and eat wherever we wanted. In fact, the programme is fairly well-structured and the proposed stops should be followed. However, the guides are well worth the 2-3 euros requested. On the other hand, some restaurants look a bit like “tourist factories”, and the backchich trades openly at the end. When the food is good, as during our last stop at Café Panorama after Douar Aït M’ghar (photo 11), it remains a good time. On the other hand, the first stop in Aït Ben Haddou was very average and the meal of the second day, just before Tamellalt, was really horrible (entry photo 10): the frying oil seemed rancid, the skewers cooked on grills not clean and the lamb of the tagine tasted very marked ... which is a shame for a meal charged about 12 €, a fairly high sum for the region. The meal at the camp in the desert was really excellent. Don’t worry about the return trip: between the scenery and the comfort of the bus, time flies very quickly.
