Traveler reviews
Excellent: our guide Stavros and the drivers, nice hotels, a bit too quick, trap restaurants
My experience is that, in spite of the cost, the investment is worthy: if you want / need a (too) quick visit of the classical historical sites which are a must in Greece, then you will enjoy the visit: the places are charged with energy and symbolism, great still standing piece of art. The best was our guide: Stravros, a very professional, well documented, scholarly and passionate individual, who knew how to combine tranquillity with solid information. The hotel stay were: first night: beautiful, 5 stars hotel (attention at night for the vegetarians, some options but not the amount that all eaters have).second night 3 stars (dinner was not very abundant and not very good in general). The options offered as a restaurants on all three days were like traps: high price, not especial food, not abundant... a good business for Key tours, because the stops are conceived to eliminate any other option for eating out. Only one day it was ok... I would repeat the experience of being guided by Stravos, I don't know if the tour itself would be advisible in my case, I felt some scarsity of time when being in "the places", with some "free time" and "photo time". There is no discount option for disable people (who are not paying the tickets for the musuams, historical sites, nor for the students), too much business oriented...
