Bali in 3 Days! Totally worth the agony!
Over all this tour was amazing and worth every dollar! My driver/tour guide, Wayan Netra (with EcoBalTours), was fantastic and made all the difference! I was soloing, and he very helpful and took care of me the entire trip. He arrived on time every day, was very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you @ Wayan Netra The tour itself was absolutely amazing. There is so much to see and explore in Bali. In my opinion the 3 day option was perfectly curated to ensure that you had the best of Bali in a short period of time. On Day 1 we were slotted to visit Ubud Monkey Forest,Ubud Palace, Ubud Art Market, Kintamani Volcano, Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Tegenungan Waterfall. We were unable to do the Monkey forest and the Palace as there was a storm that morning, and both places were closed as a precaution (no fault of the Tour Operator). However, the rest of the day totally made up for the other two. We were also able to see the monkeys outside of the Forest. Day 2 we explored Taman Ayun Temple, Leke Leke Waterfall, Ulun Danu Beratan Temple,Candi Kuning Fruit Market, Tanah Lot Temple. The waterfall was a bit of hike (for me), but it was lovely. The Temples were amazing, each its own unique experience and well worth the visit individually. Day 3 was Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, Uluwatu Temple, Kecak and Fire Dance, Dinner in Jimbaran Beach. Each day felt as if it was more amazing than the previous day. The GWK Cultural Park is extensive and you can easily spend the entire day here. We spent a couple hours exploring the statues. The Uluwatu temple poised on a cliff top was a vision. The Kecak fire dance was and experience of its own. All in all I would definitely recommend both the tour and if you are lucky enough to get the tour guide as well. While it is an intensive 3 day, its very much well worth the experience.
Fantastic Overview of Bali (Four days visit)
I had a very good overview of Bali. I booked this agency based on the reviews. The reservation process was very simple and completed weeks in advance. I organized four days visiting the North, East, West and Central región. Although the weather was a challenge, the guide / driver (Surya) managed the itinerary very wel - he knows his island! - making the trip a safe one every single day. Surya was always on time, with a smile, willing to share his knowledge about Bali I strongly suggest to book with this agency and with Surya.
Lots of picturesque things to see.
Made Pade provided us with a wonderful experience! He was so kind and made the tour the best that it could be, and accommodated our wishes. The tour they have curated has a lot of picturesque places in Bali, to be sure! If you’re good to run around for three days, this is a good way to see a good portion of the island. That being said, the days are a bit longer than advertised, which is why I didn’t give it five stars. But Eco Tours does do a good job overall!
So much to see So little time
3 DAY Tour gave us an excellent taste af bali culture, dance and temples. From mountains, lakes, volcanoes, rice fields, vegetable gardens, coffee, monkeys, beautiful manicured gardens, peace tranquillity and the bustling traffic. Distances between sites are long at times. Our driver Boudi was very patient and kind. Monkey forest you only need a quick visit and monkeys are pleasant. The plantations of marigolds are beautiful in the mountains. Tegalalang rice terrace is very touristy and not really good. Some nice pics but that's about it. Save your rice field experience for Jatiluwih rice terrace. Amazing views for lunch and several great walking tracks not for the faint hearted. Up down and very hot. Tanah Lot once again in an amazing location but to get a good pic or with sunset you must go late in the day or the sun is in your face. Garuda park is again a quick walk thru take lovely pics n get out. Uluwatta temple is very hard to see unless you are up high. The 🐒 here are savage. I warn you. No glasses, caps, scarves or jingly things. If your children wear sight glasses do no take them here. We saw a child attacked 😳 for his glasses. This place is not for children as far as I'm concerned. Monkeys tried to take a key ring hanging from my bag. They jump at you. They will not give stuff back and they chew. The Kecak Fire dance was great. Go to the first show at 6pm. You are jammed into a large arena. Funny and awesome show. Dinner on the beach was disappointing. The location wonderful. Food. Not so good. I could not eat the fish. Everything covered in sauces and spices. Squid on a stick was lovely. Bintang saved me. All in all we would not have seen all of this if we hadn't booked a tour. So it was very well worth it. Thankyou.
Top for a first in Bali
We chose this excursion for our first time in Bali. The spots are super pretty although touristy. Our guide Surya listened to us and is a source of information, don't be afraid to ask him questions. The three trying days but it's worth it!!! Ps: watch out for the monkeys 🤣🤣
