Traveler reviews
A very good tour package with excellent real-time professional support
We did three weeks in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos with Crossing Vietnam Tours. They handled accommodations, transport and some of the day trips/tours, while we were free to do our own thing evenings. We found the hotels clean and comfortable, the food good (especially the breakfast at the Hanoi Fiesta!) and the transportation smooth. Enjoyed in particular the overnight train ride from Hanoi to Sa Pa. This trip was well curated; we talked to many other travelers while going around Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia and didn’t hear of any other sights we would have preferred to see over what Crossing Vietnam provided. I’d like to single out Miss Stella, who was our contact in the Crossing Vietnam office. We’d never been to Vietnam and the tour was a complex system of pickups, drives, drop-offs, flights, trains, tours etc, all handled by independent contractors, and whose numbers we didn’t have and whose language we didn’t speak. Miss Stella was the glue that held it all together. She was instantly available via WhatsApp during all hours anything might go wrong, like airport pickups and tour drop offs. On the few occasions a driver wasn’t immediately visible at an airport or train station a fast call or text to Miss Stella would result in an immediate rendezvous with our car, which was usually just a few meters away but out of sight. We’ve done similar travels arranged by ourselves and those friction points are much better with Miss Stella than without her. She should get a raise.
