Traveler reviews
Great tour and awesome guide
The best tour we’ve done in NY. Our guide Molly was awesome and enthusiastic. Molly’s Trolley TM for #1.
Molly's Trolly!
We really enjoyed the When Harry Met Seinfeld tour and Molly made the tour extra enjoyable. The interaction was fun, the views we're great, and the stops we're great places to stop. I would recommend this tour as long as 1) you have a couple hours to spare in NY and 2) you are a movie and TV lover!!
Moody's Trolley
Pick-up in front of McGee's already promising with high-level energy from our guide: Molly. She and Fletcher (busdriver) really made out day! Trivia quizz questions about everything but politics, bits and bites from movies (The Elf, Ghostbusters, Kramer vs. Kramer, You Got Mail, When Harry met Sally) and series (SATC, Gossip Girl, Friends, Seinfeld) on screen in the bus, background stories and actual locations to complete the picture. Molly is very friendly, honest, and genuine. Fun to be with for both adults and kids. She knows what she is talking about. Excellent tour, great views and a couple of interesting stops at hotspots along the way.
A real tease
We booked the Tour for what they promised and for the experience of other users. But when it was over, we didn’t leave our wonder at the loss of time: we were doing a tour inside a bus in the middle of a traffic jam, while the guide, who had very good will, put us on monitors a few seconds of a movie or series, and showed us some door or some building, saying that there had been shot those series. It hadn't been half an hour, when we were forced to go down in the cafeteria of the movie "You Have an E-mail," and we were left there for as little as HALF AN HOUR to consume something... then half an hour more "Tour," and back to the meeting point. In total it was a route of only three avenues, of rather little interest. Thank you because the Tour was included in the card we took out for New York attractions, because if not, we would have hurt the money it cost.
Rather disappointing
Our bus tour disappointed us. The host wasn't funny, he seemed jaded and you could see he was bored to be there. We don't know much about the Seinfeld series. But we thought we would see more interesting locations than the Lalo restaurant or the seinfeld restaurant. Fortunately, there were the video clips on the bus tv. But for central park, see 5 excerpts from the movie Elf or Mom I missed the plane is a light eu. I thought I'd see the ghosbuster barracks and not just the opera house where a scene was shot. Besides, by bus you can't see well. In short, it is one of the only visits of my stay that I regret! In addition our guide makes us pass an envelope for his Tips, given his motivation it was a bit exaggerated.
