Our two-day Florence and Tuscany tour gives you the time and space to immerse yourself in everything the region has to offer. We’ve taken care of the logistics and found the most authentic vendors. So you can savor the art, architecture, and flavors of Florence. Wander around historic Tuscan hill towns. Sip wine at a family vineyard. And sample local produce at its finest.

What to expect

Day 1: Siena and a Tuscan Winery

Morning: your tour leader and driver set off from Rome by private minivan, heading north to Siena, one of Tuscany's most beautiful and historic towns. A local guide joins you here for a walking tour across the Piazza del Campo, home to the world-famous Palio horse race, and inside the Siena Cathedral, one of Italy's finest Gothic interiors.

Midday: you'll head into the Tuscan countryside to a family-run winery for a cellar tour and wine tasting, followed by a homemade lunch prepared with local ingredients, overlooking the rolling hills, paired with wines produced on site.

Evening: you'll arrive in Florence in the late afternoon and settle into your hotel, before heading out to Oltrarno for the evening. Here you'll taste wine poured through a traditional wine window, then sit down to a Florentine steak dinner at a family-run trattoria.

Day 2: the Best of Florence, and San Gimignano

Morning: your guide meets you for a walking tour through Florence's historic center, finishing inside the Accademia Gallery with skip-the-line tickets to see Michelangelo's David.

Late morning: you'll continue to the Duomo for VIP, skip-the-line access, learning the stories behind this feat of art and architecture up close and at an unhurried pace.

Afternoon: after some free time to explore Florence on your own, you'll board the private minibus for San Gimignano, a medieval hilltop town famed for its tower houses. Explore at your own pace, shop, or climb the bell tower for sweeping views, before the drive back to Rome.
