Every moment is designed to unlock Italy’s art, flavors, and landscapes. A local tour leader accompanies you every step of the way, and this tour is limited to 10 people maximum for an intimate and personal experience. Let us handle the logistics so you can lose yourself in Renaissance masterpieces, medieval towns, and vineyard vistas.

Leave Rome early by private minivan, heading north through the Tuscan countryside to a historic hill town. A local guide leads a walking tour across its famous shell-shaped square, home to a world-famous horse race run each summer, then inside its cathedral, one of Italy's great Gothic interiors, striped marble and floor mosaics included.

Continue to a family-run winery for a tour of the cellars and a tasting of the estate's wines, followed by a homemade lunch made with local ingredients, with the rolling hills spread out in front of you.

By early evening, settle into your hotel in Florence before heading into the neighborhood locals consider the real heart of the city. Taste wine poured through a centuries-old wine window, then sit down to a traditional steak dinner at a family-run trattoria.

The next morning, skip the line into a world-famous gallery to see one of the most recognized sculptures in the world, then continue to the city's landmark cathedral for a skip-the-line visit, at a pace that lets you actually look.

After free time to explore on your own, head to a medieval hill town known for its towers, with time to explore at your own pace before the drive back to Rome, arriving in the evening.
