Full description
After leaving Rome on a private minibus, your adventure begins in Pompeii, where an archaeologist brings the ruins to life during a guided walk through homes, bakeries, and temples. Pompeii is an active archaeological site where new discoveries are made every year. Your guide will take you to new and ongoing excavations on their comprehensive tour of the ancient city. Next, you’ll head to a family-run winery on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius for a leisurely vineyard tour and three-course lunch paired with local wines.
By late afternoon, arrive in Positano at its most magical: golden hour. By now, most of the crowds have left for the day, allowing you to wander the cliffside streets or explore boutiques in peace. Then, board a private boat for a sunset cruise along the coast. After dinner, continue to your 4-star hotel in Sorrento for a restful night.
Day 2 takes you by boat to Amalfi, where you’ll visit a family-run lemon farm overlooking the sea. Taste fresh limoncello and learn about time-honoured cultivation methods. You'll have free time in Amalfi to get lunch, go shopping or go for a swim. If you wish, it's a scenic 15-minute walk to nearby Atrani, Italy’s smallest village and full of medieval charm.
Then, board your next boat of the day to Cetara, a working fishing village famous for its anchovies, tuna, and the ancient Roman-style anchovy essence known as "colatura di alici." End your day on the Amalfi Coast with a local aperitivo as the sun begins to set. You'll return to Rome by private minibus, arriving in the Italian capital in the early evening. This 2-day tour from Rome combines a relaxed pace with authentic experiences that reveal the true magic of southern Italy and the Amalfi Coast without the stress of planning a thing.

Reviews
The tour was great and having priority on the boat was excellent
If you’re reading this, book it now! You’ll be one of the first on the boat and get the best spot before anyone else. Daniela (aka “Daniel”) treated us exceptionally well from start to finish. Her knowledge of the falls and the stories behind them was the perfect balance of informative and entertaining. She keeps you laughing throughout the tour and enjoys the experience right alongside you as if it were her first time seeing it. 10/10 — I would recommend this tour to anyone. As an added bonus, our group had only four people, which made the experience absolutely incredible and much more personal. Thanks again, Daniel! 😉
