Exoticca = Non existant customer service
From the minute that we had made our last payment the customer care became non existent. They don’t explain additional costs, such as the £240 just to have our luggage put on the plane. Dreadful flight times meant that when flying to Buenos Aires from Lima in Peru, we were sent via Santiago in Chile. The first flight meant getting up at 2.30 am and we arrived at hotel at 10.00 pm so lost a whole day then had to leave 2 days later on a flight that involved getting up at 3.30 am. When we came back from Cusco to Lima we got to our hotel in Lima city centre at 10.00 pm and had to be up at 6.30am for a flight the following day. It would have been far more practical to have stayed at the airport and had another hour sleep. Programming and value for money poor. I doubt anyone from the company ever took our holiday using our flights. Worst of all when I raised a lot of issues both whilst away and on our return from the trip they haven’t responded, despite my regular chasers, other than by an automated response telling me that they are working on it. I wouldn’t touch this company with a barge pole and recommend that everyone adopts a very cautious approach in any dealings.
accommodation, very disappointing and misleading
We paid for the hotel upgrade we did not get that. Two out of three of the hotels or basic, basic with none of the amenities that were shown in the photos are in the promotional material. I have emailed and Exoticca. They have thanked me for my Feedback but I've done nothing. I feel that they have misrepresented the hotels and that we have been cheated. I would not recommend the strip to anyone.
20 day trip to South America: Argentina, Uruguay, Patagonia, Iguazu, Brazil
ROME: The wait is long...with the soft background of the rolled "R"s and the velvety Ss of the South Americans. At the gate counter, however, the oriental features of our second generations triumph. Cumbersome boarding with a moving staircase that is muy peligrosa in its oscillations and clashes for the two-way in the corridors more suitable for hobbits, than for humans. Same narrative for the armchairs, where my neighbor, a tall man made in the USA all proteins and multiple, contemporary devices, must necessarily fit his long, muscular femurs together, without reflections on the future. To tell the truth, he soon bundles up with a hood, caps and mask, and hugs Morpheus, as if there were no tomorrow. Goodbye. Arrived in BUENOS AIRES The day after tomorrow I fly to the Valdes Peninsula.
